ENG-221 Literary Publication

Literary Publication offers experienced writers and literary enthusiasts practical experience working on a team with other classmates, a graphic designer, an art director, a faculty advisor, and print professionals to produce an issue of the Hedge Apple literary magazine. As editors, they will work with a team to market the magazine, contribute to the magazine website, select which pieces deserve a place in the magazine, and then edit those pieces for publication. This is an opportunity for students to hone skills in team building, accountability, and effective communication. Students will also learn about the current publication market, develop a statement of aesthetics, and submit creative work to other magazines.
