JPN-101 Elementary Japanese I

This introductory course in Japanese language and culture focuses on the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while also inviting students to explore the culture of Japanese-speaking people. Elementary Japanese I provides learners with an extensive vocabulary base, an understanding of language structures in Japanese, and a setting in which to use the target language in simulated everyday exchanges. Students are equipped and encouraged to practice the language both inside and outside of the classroom. * Art/Humanities Approved General Education Course.
