PLS-102 Legal Research

This course introduces students to various legal research sources such as codes, case law, digests, encyclopedias, etc. Instruction is provided in the use of books and computer-aided research. The "briefing" of cases and the use of proper citations are stressed. This course also stresses ethics as well as attitudes, skills and behaviors required in a professional setting.
