HIM-222 Health Information Management Externship Management Practices
This course provides the Health Information Management student with an opportunity to practice skills in a supervised setting. This course includes an unpaid externship experience, which will enable students to integrate the skills learned from previous coursework with professional application of the skills.
Prerequisite
Acceptance into the Electronic Health Records or Health Information Management program; AND take
HIM-101, HIM 112,
HIM-201, and HIM 220.
