DHY-110 Dental Hygiene Theory II

This course continues the study of Dental Hygiene Theory I and the dental hygiene process of care. Emphasis is on treatment care plans, dental hygiene diagnosis, and dental hygiene management of varying patients including children, medically compromised and/or individuals living with various disabilities. Examination of theories and practices of preventive dental hygiene are addressed. These include advanced instrumentation, fluoridation, and preventive aids.
