MAT-090 Foundations of Algebra
This is a preparatory course covering select topics normally covered in high school Algebra I and II, such as simplifying algebraic expressions, solving equations, and graphing. This course is designed to prepare students for
MAT-114 or
MAT-160.
Credits earned in developmental courses do not count toward graduation requirements and do not transfer.
Corequisite
Take
SDV-089 (students who have previously completed college coursework are exempt from needing
SDV-089).
