2025-2026 Academic Catalog

Mechanical Engineering Technology, A.A.S.

The Mechanical Engineering Technology A.A.S. program gives students the opportunity to develop skills in mechanical design theory. Lecture and laboratory courses provide an application-based study in engineering technology. Students obtain the scientific, engineering, and technical skills necessary to function as a contributing member of the engineering team. This A.A.S. program is a career degree, preparing students for the workforce after graduation. However, students can opt to transfer to a four-year program rather than start a career, but should confer with advisors and transferring institutions for specific requirements.
