ART-209 Figure Drawing

This studio course is an in-depth study of the human figure and is designed for the student with basic drawing skills. Through a series of drawing exercises, students develop their powers of observation and learn to translate what they see on to paper. The course emphasizes important observational skills. Some basic anatomy is included to help with the mechanics of the human form. Students also explore the expressive potential of the human figure. Students produce a portfolio of studies and drawings.
