BTC-110 Biotechnology and Society

This course introduces the scientific methods and applications of biotechnology while emphasizing impacts on society. Ethical, social, political, legal, economic and historical implications will be discussed while utilizing current topics such as cloning, stem cells, genetically modified organisms, and gene therapy. * Diversity Approved General Education Course.
