ART-122 Sculpture I

This is a foundation course in sculpture in which students take a journey into the physical world of sculptural form, materials and processes. Students work with a variety of materials and explore techniques including modeling, carving, fabrication, and assemblage. The study of past and present artists helps students understand good form and composition, and the role of sculpture in our culture.
