PHS-103 Into to General Physical Science
This course is an introductory non-laboratory science course that applies the basic principles of physical science for  students in multiple disciplines including allied health, technology, or any other program that does not require high-level  physics content. Topics include an introduction to the scientific method, measurement/dimensional analysis, physical  properties and relationships of matter, motion, and energy. Basic concepts of electricity, magnetism, sound and light  waves will also be covered. Students will not get credit for both this course and PHS 104.  *Biological/Physical Science Approved  General Education Course.
Prerequisite
Take
RDG-095 or appropriate score on the placement test AND
MAT-095,
MAT-090, or appropriate score on the placement test.
