PHS-104 General Physical Science With Laboratory
This course is an introductory laboratory science course that applies the basic principles of physics for students in multiple disciplines including the AAT in Education programs, applied health, technology, or any other program that does not require high-level physics content. Topics include the scientific method, measurement/dimensional analysis, density, specific gravity, motion, energy/work, flow & pressure, basic electricity & magnetism, and sound and light waves. Students will not get credit for both this course and PHS 103.* Biological/Physical Science and Lab Approved General Education Course.
Prerequisite
Take
RDG-095 or appropriate score on the placement test AND
MAT-095,
MAT-090, or appropriate score on the placement test.
