Theater Concentration, Arts and Sciences, A.A.
The Theater Concentration program prepares students to transfer to a four-year theater program at the university level. Students may select a concentration in either performance or technical aspects of theater.
Program Outcomes:
- Demonstrate competency with basic audition and performance techniques.
- Recognize terminology and clearly apply communication skills within the field of theater.
- Discuss the integration of the synergistic properties involved in producing a performance.
- Students experience creative challenges that develop critical thinking and problem solving.
- Interpret and analyze the ways Theater functions in the culture at large.
