Theater Concentration, Arts and Sciences, A.A.

The Theater Concentration program prepares students to transfer to a four-year theater program at the university level. Students may select a concentration in either performance or technical aspects of theater.

Program Outcomes:

  1. Demonstrate competency with basic audition and performance techniques.
  2. Recognize terminology and clearly apply communication skills within the field of theater.
  3. Discuss the integration of the synergistic properties involved in producing a performance.
  4. Students experience creative challenges that develop critical thinking and problem solving.
  5. Interpret and analyze the ways Theater functions in the culture at large.
