World Languages Concentration, Arts and Sciences, A.A.
	
The World Languages Concentration program is designed for those students who are planning to transfer to a four-year degree program with a major in world language/s or related fields. Students interested in pursuing World Languages Education should consult with a transfer advisor regarding their choice of elective courses.
Program Outcomes: 
	- Students demonstrate the ability to engage in conversations, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions. 
 - Students understand and interpret written and spoken language on a variety of topics.
 - Students present information, concepts, and ideas to an audience of listeners and readers on a variety of topics.

    - Take at least twelve credits of world languages, at least six of those credits must be at the intermediate level with a single concentrated language (12 Credits)
    HCC offers language instruction from elementary to advanced proficiency in French (FRN-101, FRN-102, FRN-201, FRN-202), German (GER-101, GER-102, GER-201, GER-202), Japanese (JPN-101, JPN-102, JPN-201, JPN-202), and Spanish (SPN-101, SPN-102, SPN-201, SPN-202)
