Graphic Design Concentration, Arts and Sciences, A.A.
This program is suspended and not enrolling new students as of July 2026.
The concentration in Graphic Design will prepare students for transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor of fine arts degree with a concentration in graphic design. While most courses are transferable to a four-year institution, students who wish to transfer should discuss their choice of courses with an academic advisor from the transfer institution.
Program Outcomes:
- Students have the necessary skills to enter a four-year graphic design program at the junior level.
- Students have software and hardware skills to solve introductory visual design problems typically found in any visual communications program.
- Students will have mastered the "first year foundational art skills" necessary for entry to a four-year program.
